Since 1986, we've been proud to serve our community with professional hair and esthetic services, personalized service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're here for a routine appointment or a special occasion, our goal is to help you leave feeling confident, refreshed, and looking your best.
As we celebrate 40 years in business, we're incredibly grateful for the loyalty and support of our clients who have made this journey possible.
We are conveniently located in the Fairview area of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Very close to the Halifax Shopping Centre and Bayers Lake Business Park. There is lots of parking available for your convenience. We offer hair services, gel nails and other esthetic services. We sell brand name hair care products such as Matrix, Moroccan Oil and Schwarzkopf.

I'm Christine Chiasson, salon manager for Styles Alive, and the friendly voice you hear when you call the salon most days. I have been with Styles Alive for 21 years and counting. A Newfie by heart, I have grown to love and call Nova Scotia my home!

Hi my name is Danielle Tucker(Pace). I have been with Styles Alive since 2008. I have been working part time since having my daughter in 2016. Fun fact about me- I used to do road construction (which i absolutely hated). I fully enjoy everything about my job and love to learn new tips and tricks especially for curly hair (if you know you know) I also enjoy the sun, water painting-which is a new hobby, and reading.

I’m Amy, and I’ve been a hairstylist for 42 years, 39 of which have been with my Styles Alive family. I am so fortunate to work with a fun and fabulous team. Although I’m not accepting new clients, I cherish the wonderful and longstanding relationships I have with my clientele. They make my work so enjoyable, and I look forward to seeing all of them in the years to come.

With nearly three decades of experience in the beauty industry, I bring both skill and passion to every client I work with. I graduated from Holland College in Prince Edward Island in 1996 as a licensed hair stylist, and continued my education by earning my esthetics certification in 1998 from the Academy of Aesthetics and Cosmetology in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong love for creative color work, especially highlights, where I enjoy enhancing natural beauty and helping clients feel confident and refreshed. I am dedicated to staying current with trends and techniques, while always focusing on personalized service and attention to detail.

Hi I’m Devyn!
I have been a hairstylist for 12 years and working with styles alive for 8 years. I run on white monsters and chaos. I love doing all colour services that involve blonde, grey blending, demi permanent colour, hair extensions and men’s cuts. I split my time at the salon between here for 2 days and a salon in bridgewater, where I live with my boyfriend, my two bonus kids and our 2 cats; Steve and lolli.
When I’m not working behind the chair or wrangling the family you can find me reading, crocheting and playing monopoly go ahahaa

My name is Sheena Whitman, I have been a hair stylist for 15 years, and have been with Styles Alive for over 7 years. I finally found a place I can feel at home here. I love what I do and enjoy building relationships with the people I get to meet in my chair!
Me and my Husband love to travel whether we are taking a sun filled cruise in the Caribbean or driving through the country side in Europe. When we are not travelling, we love spending time with our 2 beautiful Siamese cats, and in the summer time you can find us outside hanging out at the lake as much as we can.

My name is Candace d’Eon. I am a licensed nail technician and esthetician with nine years of experience. In 2018, after graduating from college in Yarmouth, I relocated to Halifax to pursue my dream of becoming a small business owner. I initially worked at a small salon in Prospect, Nova Scotia before establishing my own business in 2022. I am the owner of Professionally Polished Nail Salon & Esthetics, which is located within the Styles Alive Salon. My specialties include manicures, pedicures, gel nails and full-body waxing. I am currently accepting new clients!
